Learn to Juggle in 8 steps

Juggling is a fun and entertaining skill that can be learned by anyone with a little bit of practice and patience. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to juggle:

Choose your juggling props: The most common props for juggling are balls, but you can also use clubs, rings, or other objects that are easy to throw and catch. Start with three balls to begin with, as this is the most common number for juggling.

  1. Hold two balls in one hand: Take two balls in one hand and hold them with your thumb and first two fingers. This is known as the "juggling grip."

  2. Toss the third ball: Hold the third ball in your other hand and toss it gently in the air, about shoulder height.

  3. Catch the third ball with the same hand: As the third ball begins to fall, use the hand that was holding the two balls to catch the third ball.

  4. Toss the first two balls: As you catch the third ball, toss the first two balls in an arc pattern, one after the other. The first ball should be thrown a little higher than the second ball.

  5. Catch the first two balls: As the first two balls begin to fall, catch the first ball with the hand that was holding the third ball, and then catch the second ball with the other hand.

  6. Repeat the pattern: Continue tossing and catching the balls in this pattern, using both hands to throw and catch the balls.

  7. Practice, practice, practice: Juggling takes a lot of practice to get the hang of. Don't get discouraged if you drop the balls at first – it takes time and patience to master this skill.

  8. Try different patterns: Once you get the hang of juggling three balls, you can try adding more balls or experimenting with different juggling patterns.

With a little bit of practice, you'll be juggling like a pro in no time!
